Cookie notice
This is the short version of how CrownMiter uses cookies and similar storage. For the full picture, including your rights, see the privacy policy.

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. Some sites also use local storage, which works in a similar way. CrownMiter keeps this to a minimum, and right now there is very little to manage.
Essential storage
The site stores one small entry in your browser, under the key cookie-consent-v1, to remember your cookie choice. This is what keeps the consent banner from popping up on every visit. It stays on your device and is not sent to us or used to track you. Hosting and security through Cloudflare may also set a strictly necessary cookie to deliver pages and keep the site safe. These are needed for the site to work, so they are always on.
Analytics cookies (not currently active)
We may add Yandex Metrika later to count visits and see which pages get used, so we know what to fix and build next. It is not running today, so no analytics cookies are set. If we turn it on, it would load only after you accept analytics, and we would read the data in aggregate, not to identify you.
Advertising cookies (not currently active)
We may add Google AdSense in future to help fund a free tool. No ads run today, so no advertising cookies are set. If we turn ads on, they would load only after you accept advertising cookies, and Google and its partners could then set cookies to serve and measure ads, and in some regions to personalize them.
How to manage your cookies
When you first visit, a banner asks whether to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the button below, which reopens the banner. You can also clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If we add ads later, you will also be able to opt out of interest-based ads through Google's ad settings.
